The Floating Resort

We are excited to introduce the floating Resort by Scubaspa, a new and unique concept combining exceptional spa experiences with unforgettable scuba diving. This is designed for divers and non divers alike with a keen interest in spas. Scubaspa’s purpose-built yachts explore the picture-perfect islands and reefs in the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean.

You can explore the rich marine life whilst indulging on daily treatments on the spa onboard, or if you are not a diver you can make use of the boats spa only packages. Scubaspa offers four spacious decks featuring a gym, jacuzzi and spaces especially for hosting sunset cocktails, star gazing outdoor dinners and open-air cinema for evening entertainment. There are 30 crew members onboard including four spatherapists, a yoga master, four highly skilled chefs and a guest services manager to ensure all their guests are well looked after.

Accommodation

Luxury liveaboard diving yachts Scubaspa Ying and Scubaspa Yang have been designed to accommodate up to 40 guests in 19 luxurious cabins and suites on each vessel, all with superb all round sea view.

Manta Suites

Set on the main deck, the 5 Manta Suites are Scubaspa’s premium cabins combining comfortable twin or king-size beds with thoughtfully appointed seating areas.

Dolphin Suites

Beautifully decorated, the Dolphin Suites are set on the main deck offering queen-size beds with generous seating areas. Theses suites feature oval panoramic windows offering uninterrupted ocean views and total privacy.

Cowrie Suite

The Cowrie Suite is tucked away in the lower deck. It features a queen-size bed and a lavish ruby-colored sofa that can be transformed into a comfortable third bed. This spacious en-suite houses the largest shower on-board.

Sea Star Cabins

10 spacious Sea Star cabins are located in the lower deck all with queen-size beds, and one features an additional second bed, for three guests sharing.

Spa

The 300 metres squared Spa is the largest of its kind in the Maldives. There are six treatment rooms spanning over two decks, including one for couples’ therapies, a secluded deck for open-air massage or meditation and a shaded spa lounge for ultimate relaxation and yoga.

Dive

Diving in the Maldives is a year-round activity with water temperatures a constant 26-29 degrees. Sea and sky are clearest from December to May, whilst mantas, whale sharks, turtles and reef sharks are found in the Maldives all year round. The maximum depth per dive is limited to 30m; diving with a computer and an alternative air-source is mandatory, and it is prohibited to dive alone or do decompression dives.

It is important for guests to check their certification level. Night and deep dives are available only to dives with advanced diver certification. Guests can also part take in advanced diver course whilst on board.

Dining

Guests can enjoy three buffet style meals daily as well as a la carte, complete with live cooking stations and spacious al fresco restaurant at the rear of the main deck. The bar offers an extensive selection of fine wines and champagnes, as well as many exotic cocktails created by skilled bartenders. Guests can also experience a desert island BBQ on a picture-perfect sandy beach as the azure blue water gently caressing the shoreline.
