The resort’s main restaurant, Maaniyaa, provides a local and international buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Al Pontile is a tranquil over-water oasis specialising in an innovative fusion of cuisines including Italian and Japanese.

Sun Star, a floating restaurant with wraparound deck, serves distinctive, gourmet Thai cuisine.

Southern Star is the resort’s speciality restaurant, offering elaborate daily buffets, fresh seafood and a speciality Indian menu.

Spa

The Araamu Spa provides guests with the ultimate indulgent experience. Treatments are provided within the pavilions set amongst spacious gardens, including a couple’s massage room, private bath, jacuzzi and steam room. 

Sun Yoga is the resort’s yoga retreat and offers both sunrise and sunset sessions. Guests can also receive personalised detox programmes, created with specialists’ guidance and individually tailored. In 2016, Sun Island won “The Maldives’ Leading Spa Brand” award.

Location

Sun Island Resort & Spa is located on Nalaguraidhoo Island in the South Ari Atoll, 107 kilometers south of the Malé International Airport. It can accessed via a short 17-minute domestic flight.
