The Verandah, serves exquisite a la carte Asian Fusion cuisine throughout the day to tables overlooking the 200-year-old tropical gardens. Their innovative menus use the finest local ingredients, and many of the fruits, vegetables and herbs used in freshly cooked meals are plucked daily from their extensive kitchen garden. The resident chefs cater to all dietary requirements with prior notice, and a kid’s menu, BBQ menu and in-room dining menu are also available. A selection of fine wines, cocktails, spirits and beers perfectly complement every menus.
Spa
Tranquility reigns at The Wallawwa, and the Z Spa captures the peaceful mood by pampering guests with luxurious and restful treatments. Their therapies have been conceived with real people in mind and are designed specifically to aid in pre- and post-flight rest and relaxation – be indulged within 20-minutes of stepping out of Colombo International Airport. The Z Spa has both single and double air-conditioned treatment rooms with open-air bathrooms, all of which radiate from a Zen-like central courtyard. The spa has no set opening hours; our therapists plan treatments to fit each guest’s schedule.

A wonderful colonial-era retreat. It is just 30 minutes away from the Airport. Excellent to either start or finish your trip with a couple of nights. The rooms and property as a whole are absolutely beautiful. It is like a peaceful little garden sanctuary. Excellent food and staff.
