I have been with Hummingbird for 14 years now and it has afforded me the opportunity to truly explore and get under the skin of the Indian Ocean. I particularly enjoy hiking and discovering the wonderful nature this magical part of the World boasts. Whether it’s walking along the Tea Trails in Sri Lanka, the Black river Gorges in Mauritius, Silhouette island national park in Seychelles or swimming with Whale Sharks in the Maldives. There is so much more to the Indian Ocean than just incredible beaches, luxurious resorts and great weather.

  • Insider Tip: When visiting Anse Source D’argent, one of the best beaches in Seychelles on La Digue, on Leunion estate, keep heading along the beach. Most people congregate by the first couple of coves but if you walk along a few minutes you will find a lovely private beach all to yourself.
