Day 1
Ishq Colombo
Explore Colombo for the day while staying at Ishq Colombo. Colombo, Sri Lanka's bustling canal city boasts golden beaches, stunning temples, and chic dining amidst impressive skyscrapers. Must-see attractions include Asokaramaya Buddhist Temple and Sri Ponnambalam Vanesar Kovil. Explore the historic Dutch quarter with its fascinating Dutch Hospital and museum. Nature lovers can unwind at Talangama Wetland or Viharamahadevi Park amidst flowering trees and local charm.
Day 2-4
Ulagalla Resort, Anuradhapura
Day 2: Take a Cinnamon Air scheduled flights from Colombo airport to Sigiriya airport. Check-in to Ulagalla Resort In the evening proceed to Junior Ranger programme hosted by Ulagalla. Day 3: Enjoy a morning cycling tour through Anuradhapura with a historian, followed by a drive to Wilpattu for a thrilling Jeep safari in Wilpattu National Park. Return to the hotel by dinner time. Day 4: Head to Polonnaruwa in the morning for a unique walking experience with monkeys, followed by an evening Jeep safari in Minneriya National Park, renowned for its large gatherings of elephants during certain times of the year.
Day 5-6
W15 Hanthana Estate, Kandy
Day 5: Drive to Kandy. (Approx. 3.5 hours) Enroute visit UNESCO Dambulla cave temple. Drive to W15 Hanthana Estate to check in. The rest of the day is free time to relax at the hotel. Day 6: Proceed to Kandy treasure hunt.
Day 7-8
Ceylon Tea Trails, Dickoya
Day 7: Take a scenic train ride to Hatton. (Approx.3.5 hours) Guests will be picked up from the Hatton railway station ad taken to the lovely hill bungalow. Check in and rest of the day relax at the hotel. Day 8: Descend from Adam’s Peak to the Kelani River in Sri Lanka's Hill Country. Enjoy a thrilling rafting adventure from Kitulgala, just 1.5 hours from Ceylon Tea Trails. Navigate seven class III rapids with ease in warm waters. Tea Trails ensures safety with a trusted partner. Package includes 1.5 hours of rafting, equipment, guide, transfers, and a picnic lunch.
Day 9-10
Amangalla, Galle
Day 9: After breakfast take a cinnamon air scheduled flights from Castlereagh reservoir to Koggala domestic airport. Guests will be picked up from the Koggala airport and driven to their hotel inside the Gale fort. Check in at Amangalla. In the evening proceed to Photography tour with resident expert. Day 10: Enjoy Mask craving and mask Painting experiences with resident expert. The local mask-maker who hosts this experience, has plied his trade for several decades by skilfully employing their use. This novel experience immerses guests in the tradition of mask carving. Chiselling away at the firm slabs of wood, one can’t help but feel connected to the wider practice of mask-making and its intrinsic role in the many cultural, religious, and spiritual practices common to the island of Sri Lanka.
