Day 1

Residence By Uga Escapes, Colombo

Day one begins in Colombo at 5:30 pm at the Sivan Hindu temple. Guests visit the Red Mosque, enjoy street food on Hulfsdorp street, and see the Dutch Hospital's prison cell of King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe. The tour ends at the Grand Oriental Hotel with a Gin and Tonic and a cheese platter, concluding around 11 pm.

Day 2-3

Amangalla, Galle

Day 2:
Day 2 starts with a 2.5-hour drive to Galle, stopping at the enchanting Lunuganga Estate Garden. After checking in at a hotel in Galle Fort, enjoy an evening walking tour with a local guide. Explore the historic Galle Fort, with its bastions, places of worship, former Dutch Governor's residence, old warehouse, schools, post office, lighthouse, and clock tower.

Day 3:
Set sail for whale watching on a Luxury Yacht. The Sail Lanka Giant's Loop South in Mirissa is a half-day expedition departing from the port in Mirissa on a shared or private basis. This 7-hour luxury yacht cruise, ideal for families and small groups, departs from Mirissa port and offers a perfect mix of whale watching and watersports.

Day 4-6

Jetwing Surf, Pottuvil

Day 4:
After breakfast, drive to Arugam Bay (approx. 5-5.5 hours). En route, visit the Herman Teas Virgin White Tea Plantation at Handunugoda Tea Estate for an insightful tour. After arriving at the hotel, the rest of the day is free to relax.

Day 5:
In the morning, enjoy a Jeep safari in Kumana National Park, a popular ecotourism spot in Sri Lanka is known for its bird sanctuary and diverse wildlife, including elephants and leopards.

Day 6:
Guests will enjoy a second morning Jeep safari in Kumana National Park. The park's highlight is Kumana Cilly, a mangrove swamp lake that serves as a natural habitat for many bird species. The park's vegetation includes mangrove trees, Karan ferns, and Kumbuk trees.

Day 7-9

Uga Jungle Beach, Trincomalee

Day 7:
In the morning, drive to Trincomalee (approx. 5 hours), visiting Batticaloa Fort en route. After arriving at the hotel, the rest of the day is free to relax.

Day 8:
Visit Koneshwaram Hindu Temple, perched atop Swami Rock. The temple holds historical and religious significance as a revered pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva, attracting devotees with its architectural grandeur and panoramic ocean views.

Day 9:
Day at leisure at Uga Jungle Beach. Unwind with the soothing sounds of nature while staying in luxurious cabins. With an on-site restaurant serving delectable dishes, a spa for relaxation, and attentive room service, it's an ideal destination for a nature retreat.

Day 10-12

Jetwing Mahesa Bhawan, Jaffna

Day 10:
After breakfast, drive to Jaffna (approx. 4.5 hours). Upon check-in, the rest of the day is free for relaxation at the hotel or exploring the serene beaches, ancient temples, and colonial heritage of Jaffna, the capital of Sri Lanka's Northern Province. Jaffna serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the scenic Jaffna Peninsula and nearby islands.

Day 11:
Explore Jaffna, including a visit to the historic Jaffna Fort. Erected in 1618 by Philip De Olivera under Portuguese rule, later expanded by the Dutch in 1658, and eventually controlled by the British in 1795, the fort stands as Sri Lanka's second-largest Dutch fort. Despite being in ruins due to decades of conflict, the fort's moat and preserved tunnels offer glimpses of its rich history.

Day 12:
Explore Delft Island via Private Yacht. Situated off the coast of Jaffna in Sri Lanka, Delft Island, nestled in the Palk Strait, spans approximately 8 kilometres in length and 6 kilometres in width. Home to a small Tamil population and notable wild horses, the island boasts ruins of an ancient temple and an old Dutch fort, adding to its historical charm.

Day 13-14

Wattura Resort and Spa, Waikkal

Day 13:
After breakfast, drive to Mannar, visiting Mannar Fort. Mannar, the main town and capital of Mannar District, overlooks the Gulf of Mannar and was renowned for its pearl fishing industry. The town features a fort, initially built by the Portuguese and later rebuilt by the Dutch, along with churches, temples, and mosques. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, and the remainder of the day is at leisure for relaxation.

Day 14:
Day at Leisure.
