Accommodation

The Angaga resort is made up of 90 residences, consisting of a mixture of superior beach bungalows, water bungalows and superior water bungalows. The free-standing beach bungalows feature a typical Maldivian-style interior and a wooden deck with garden furniture, including a swing.

The water bungalows include a private sundeck and direct access to the lagoon. The superior water bungalows are slightly larger (by 10 sqm) and have all the same amenities, except they have been newly refurbished.

Food & Beverages

Angaga’s main restaurant serves a variety of European and Eastern style cuisine, including freshly caught seafood, a selection of meats and local specialities. It’s situated near the beach and boasts beautiful panoramic views.

The Sunset bar and restaurant is located near the pool and serves cocktails, snacks and dishes from both a local and international a la carte menu, open 24 hours a day. Evening entertainment takes place here and includes discos, beach BBQs and a traditional Bodu Beru night.

Snorkelling

The island’s house reef which is just 7-8 metres from the beach is superb for snorkelling and diving. One of the most award-winning dive centres in the Maldives, Sub Aqua, gives guests the opportunity to dive with giant whale sharks.

Location

The island of Angaga takes 25 minutes to reach by sea plane from Male International Airport.

The resort has a lovely house reef. Look out for schools of snappers, soldierfish, batfish and many more.
