Floating Resort by Scuba Spa Maldives

Floating Resort by ScubaSpa allows travellers to discover the Maldives in a unique way, combining a new and exceptional spa and diving concept.

Two identical purpose-built yachts are provided to explore the islands and reefs of the Indian Ocean: ScubaSpa Ying and ScubaSpa Yang.

Both Ying and Yang consist of four spacious decks with a gym, jacuzzi, open-air cinema and dining facilities. Each yacht boasts a crew of 30, including four chefs, four spa therapists and five expert dive instructors.

Accommodation

Each yacht accommodates up to 40 guests within its 10 cabins and nine suites. Each room is tastefully decorated, includes an en-suite with shower and boasts a panoramic sea view.

Set on the main deck are the premium Manta Suites which feature king-sized beds, seating areas and large oval panoramic windows. Also situated on the main deck are the Dolphin Suites. These include the same amenities, however with a queen-sized bed.

Each of the 10 Sea Star cabins on the lower deck include a queen-sized bed, with one room offering an additional second bed. The Cowrie Suite is nestled in the bow of the lower deck. It includes a queen-sized bed, additional sofa bed, four opening port lights and a large shower.

Food & Drink

The spacious al-fresco restaurant is located on the main deck and features live cooking stations and an authentic sushi bar. Guests can enjoy three gourmet buffet-style meals a day, as well as an a la carte menu combining European and Mediterranean flavours.

The welcoming bar faces the stern and opens on to the shaded lounge deck with access to the bathing platform.

Spa

The 300 sqm Asian-style spa occupies the two upper decks. It boasts six treatment rooms including a couple’s room, a shaded spa lounge for relaxation and the Thai Pavilion (a secluded deck for open-air Thai massages). Over 20 types of massage, aqua and stone therapies and Ayurvedic treatments are available.

Diving

The PADI five-star diving facilities can be found on a separate 20-metre dive boat that travels alongside the main ship, also used to store equipment including state-of-the-art Nitrox. Dive sites include Broken Rock in the North Ari Atoll, Kudhimaa Wreck in the South Ari Atoll and the Banana Reef in the North Male Atoll.
