The eight spacious rooms are each named after a matriarch in the family. The ground-floor Annapuranie, Vasanthi and Anithra suites each have freestanding baths and their own private gardens while the upstairs rooms, Cynthia and Ranee also have freestanding baths and a balcony overlooking the pool. Soundhari and Poornam each feature a semi – outdoor bathroom. Meanwhile, the split-level Chrysanthie room is well-suited to families with a ground floor king-bed and a double-bed on the upper level.

Food & Beverage

The cuisine at Maniumpathy covers both international and local dishes. A newly opened coffee shop is open all day, serving both breakfast, lunch, high tea and is an informal setting for drinks and
dinner in the evening.  On special request, a carefully curated Jaffna dinner can be ordered. As part of this experience a candlelit pooja is offered to the majestic statue of Nandi (the bull that is believed by Hindus to have carried the god Shiva), which gazes out from behind the pool. The dining room is particularly impressive with a 16-seat ebony table, crystal candelabra and antique chandeliers. It’s the ideal spot to celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary.

The area is thriving with spas and salons. Within a 10 minute taxi or three-wheeler ride are MOSS and KESS salons, as well as the Ayurvedic Siddhalepa spa. Prana Lounge, which offers a range of
yoga classes and holistic therapies, is also a short walk away on Horton Place. A massage therapist is on call at the hotel.

Less than an hour from Colombo’s international airport. The hotel is located in Colombo 7, the city’s most exclusive district. This makes it ideally positioned to explore an interesting and vibrant range of
spas, shops, restaurants and galleries.
