Italian designed Nika Island Resort is named after the majestic banyan tree called Nika in Dhivehi, the giant 355-year-old tree growing on the island is home to many types of birds and fruit bats.

A water sports centre offers catamaran sailing, windsurfing, water skiing and snorkelling. There is also a PADI dive centre.
