Having lived in my hometown of Fuvahmulah for most of my life. a few years back I jumped at the opportunity of travelling to a few islands across Northern Maldives. And I realised what I was missing out on. Although I was still in the Maldives, the different people, food and culture I experienced were so different to what I had ever seen. It had an everlasting effect on me. It changed my view on travelling and I hope to explore more of this on this journey with hummingbird.
