The Caribbean is a golfer's dream as the destination is home to some of the most luxurious beach resorts and bucket list seaside courses. There are more than 70 golf courses across the Caribbean so golf enthusiasts won't be short of choice here. We've selected a few of our favourites to showcase what guests can expect from a golf holiday in the Caribbean.
Sandy Lane, Barbados
Sandy Lane provides the ultimate choice of contrasting golfing experiences. Guests can choose between playing on the charming nine-hole Old Nine course, or at The Country Club, a Tom Fazio designed 18-hole course with spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea. The Green Monkey, another Tom Fazio-designed 18-hole course, is exclusive to hotel guests only with limited tee times available between 8:30 and 10:00am.
Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic
The Dominican Republic has been named the Caribbean golf capital which is no surprise as it’s home to three award winning golf courses at Casa de Campo alone. Pete Dye crafted all three courses including Teeth of the Dog®, which is ranked number 1 in the Caribbean. The onsite pros at the Golf Learning Centre can help perfect your guests' game with private lessons as well as all day clinics. Night golf is also available with multi-colour LED balls that can be teed off towards brightly lit targets.
Mandarin Oriental Canouan - St. Vincent & the Grenadines
Boasting the only championship golf course in the Grenadines, the par-72 Jim Fazio course is built around 877 ft Mount Royal. This being the highest point on the island it showcases stunning views of the Grenadines archipelago while you enjoy a round. Staying three nights or more includes two rounds complimentary (restrictions apply).
