In September 2023 we started our Caribbean journey, launching an incredible 17 countries and over 70 resorts. Many of you may be familiar with Caribbean staples such as Barbados or St Lucia, but we want to showcase some of the lesser known islands. This is why we've created a series of blog articles dedicated to the smaller islands to show you the properties we have there and why they're worth visiting. First up is St. Vincent & the Grenadines!

Why St. Vincent and the Grenadines?

As with most Caribbean islands, St. Vincent and the Grenadines offer white sands, clear waters, rainforests and mountain scenery. What sets this destination apart from the rest is its location. It makes the perfect base for island hopping or as part of a twin centre with a larger island like Barbados. These Caribbean islands offer laidback luxury and an escape from the crowds. As a hidden gem, St. Vincent & the Grenadines has held on to its rich cultural heritage, with regular festivities and untouched natural landscapes - perfect for outdoor activities.

 Where to Stay?

Bequia Beach Hotel

Bequia Beach Hotel on the petite island of Bequia is family owned and set within nine acres of tropical gardens with views of the Caribbean Sea and neighbouring island of Mustique. Brimming with beautiful, empty sandy beaches, green hillsides, lively little villages and intimate and varied restaurants - seclusion and immersion are guaranteed.
A must visit on this island is Tobago Cays, a protected archipelago, where guests can swim with turtles and see some of the world’s most spectacular marine life.

Petit St. Vincent

Petit St. Vincent is a 115-acre privately-owned resort island located in the southern Caribbean’s Grenadine island chain. The island has just 22 one- and two-bedroom cottages and villas dotted along the beaches and bluffs of the island, perfectly positioned for privacy seekers.
This property offers the “unplugged” classic Caribbean vibe. There are no televisions, telephones or internet connections in the cottages, and guests still use the original flagpole communication system for requests. There's a staff-to-guest ratio of two-to-one for the utmost attention to detail and tailored service.

The Liming

Also on the island of Bequia, The Liming is a small resort with just 9 villas and 1 junior suite with a hot tub, offering barefoot laid-back luxury - an ideal stay for couples looking to relax. This property also provides a great location for diving and marine life, plus the resort offers a range of non-motorised water sports equipment, as well as a tennis court and a swimming pool.

Young Island

The first of the Grenadine islands is home to Young Island with 13 acres of tropical gardens where guests can unwind in one of only 29 charming cottages. Natural sunlight fills the cottages and each is complete with an open-air garden shower and private patio. The stand out feature of this property is that it is all inclusive, which none of the above properties provide.

This island also offers beaches, a national wildlife reserve, water sports and scuba diving.

We also have rates for Mandarin Oriental Canouan, Palm Island and The Cotton House in St. Vincent & the Grenadines.
