Picture-perfect beaches and bays, crystal blue waters, and immaculate white beaches make the Turks and Caicos Islands a top Caribbean luxury holiday destination. Smith’s Reef on Providenciales Island is an extremely popular snorkelling spot thanks to its diverse marine life. Little Water Cay, also known as Iguana Island, is a must-see to explore the tropical terrestrial wildlife, and boating opportunities from Grace Bay make sunsets on Turks and Caicos even more incredible.

The islands just won #1 Best Island in the Caribbean and Atlantic in the 2025 Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards. While they’ve traditionally been better known among US travellers, Turks & Caicos is also easy to reach from the UK, with direct flights available from London.

How To Get There :

From the UK, British Airways flies twice-weekly to the Howard Hamilton International Airport in Providenciales.

Major airlines such as Jetblue and American Airlines fly daily from New York and Miami.

American Airlines flies twice-weekly from Miami to South Caicos.

Why Turks & Caicos

You can turn a Turks and Caicos holiday into an island-hopping adventure for your guests, exploring world-class beaches, dive sites, hidden gems and peaceful escapes. Travellers can explore the many islands in Turks and Caicos in one trip, with each island only a short ferry ride or flight away.

The archipelago is made up of 40 islands and cays, with nine inhabited, each offering something unique.

A 17-time World Travel Awards winner for Leading Caribbean Beach Destination and home to Grace Bay Beach, one of the World’s 50 Best Beaches.

Ferries and domestic flights make it easy to explore the less-visited sister islands for day trips or longer stays.

The Sister Islands

The sister islands of Turks and Caicos each reveal a different side of the destination’s character. Grand Turk, home to the historic capital Cockburn Town, enchants with colonial-era streets, a landmark lighthouse, world-class diving along a dramatic 7,000-ft wall and unforgettable humpback whale encounters from January to April.

Nearby, Salt Cay feels like a step back in time, where preserved salt-trade heritage, rustic architecture and a slower island rhythm set the tone. South Caicos, the fishing capital, offers an unspoiled escape with quiet streets, roaming wildlife, luxury hideaways, starfish-filled shallows at Starfish Alley, and authentic conch-diving experiences.

Lush and fertile, North Caicos, known as the “Garden Island,” invites exploration with working farms, secluded beaches and historic sites such as Wade’s Green Plantation, while neighbouring Middle Caicos captivates with the Caribbean’s largest cave system, the award-winning Bambarra Beach and striking coastal views at Mudjin Harbour. Together, these islands create an “Ocean of Experiences,” where adventure, relaxation, culture and cuisine come together in a journey that feels ever-changing and truly unforgettable.

Lottie's Recent Trip

"I spent 11 nights in Turks & Caicos and really got to see how diverse the islands are. I began at Wymara Resort, which was the perfect start - spacious rooms and incredible views from their 3-bedroom oceanfront suite.

I then flew over to South Caicos and stayed at Salterra. Arriving to flamingos feeding in the salt flats was unforgettable. Salterra’s warm service and excursions really impressed me - especially the South Caicos Bank Excursion where we saw iguanas, starfish and spotted eagle rays. Brine’s 5-course tasting menu with wine and salt pairings was another highlight."

"Back in Providenciales, I stayed at Amanyara, completely tucked away in the National Park. The pavilions and villas offer amazing privacy - the Alcove Pavilion was my favourite. I also joined the FAM trip with Van Isacker to see Blue Haven, The Alexandra Resort and Ambergris Cay. At Blue Haven, the Mangrove Kayak Tour was a standout with turtles and baby sharks. The Alexandra has a great authentic Caribbean feel, and as both are part of the Turks & Caicos Collection, guests can enjoy shared facilities and restaurants.

Ambergris Cay was particularly memorable - a premium all-inclusive reached by a short flight, complete with your own golf cart. The villas suit both families and couples, and I loved the hobie cat sailing, e-bike tours, bone fishing and Floating Hangover Bar."

"To end the trip, I visited COMO Parrot Cay - only 35 minutes by boat but wonderfully secluded. The villas are stunning, the spa overlooks the North Caicos channel, and the COMO Shambhala massage was incredible. I also had some of my best meals of the trip, especially the Pad Thai at COMO Beach Club and the Eggs Royale at Terrace."

5 Days In Turks & Caicos: An Ocean Of Experiences

Day 1: Guests excitingly arrive in Providenciales, the gateway to the Turks and Caicos Islands, and check in to their beachfront resort along world-famous Grace Bay. They spend their first afternoon unwinding, a walk along the powdery white sand, a dip in the calm turquoise water, and perhaps a beachfront cocktail as the sun sets. In the evening, they'll enjoy dinner at the hotel or venture out to discover a local restaurant.

Day 2: Golf and spa day. Guests will start the morning with a round of golf at the Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club, ranked among the Caribbean’s best. The 18-hole course is beautifully maintained, with ocean breezes and lush tropical scenery framing every hole. Afterwards, they can unwind with a rejuvenating spa treatment at the resort. For dinner, they can head out for elegant island cuisine in a romantic setting.

Day 3: Today guests will catch the early ferry to North Caicos, the “Garden Island,” where lush landscapes and farmland meet untamed beauty. Visit Wade’s Green Plantation, one of the best-preserved Loyalist ruins in the Caribbean, then drive across the causeway to Middle Caicos to explore the stunning Conch Bar Caves, the largest cave system in the region. Lunch at one of the cafes on Bambarra Beach and enjoy conch fritters while soaking in the ocean views. Return to Providenciales in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Explore the Turks and Caicos marine world with a half-day snorkelling tour to the Barrier Reef or Half Moon Bay, home to iguanas and breathtaking coral gardens. Many tours include a beach barbecue or rum punch cruise. Guests will spend the afternoon shopping at Regent Village or Salt Mills or enjoying a cold local brew at The Turks Head Brewery. If it’s Thursday, dinner can be enjoyed at the weekly Fish Fry where local chefs and artisans display their talent to the sounds of a live band.

Day 5: The Heart of the Islands. Guests start their morning at the Cheshire Hall Plantation ruins, then explore the National Museum Providenciales to learn about the islands’ rich history and heritage.
