Review
What impressed me most about Avani+ Fares was the huge lagoon and the massive reef surrounding it. It's the Western edge of Baa Atoll so it offers uninterrupted views from most locations on the island. It's a 100% natural island with wide beaches and it used to be a coconut tree plantation so there's plenty of foliage. The island has such rich marine life, including a blue hole which is great for snorkelling. There are some unique concepts, such as a strong focus on Maldivian culture and the kids only restaurant, that makes it a great option for families.

Ocean Terrace
The Ocean Terrace is the place to explore, where East meets West and beach meets ocean. Breakfast is healthy, with fresh juices and smoothies, egg-white omelettes, or pancakes drizzled in syrup. For lunch and dinner, the live cooking stations sizzle with Mediterranean, Asian and speciality Maldivian flavours.
Skipjack Pool Bar and Restaurant
Snack all day on wood-fired pizzas, tapas and noodles, with smoothies and iced coffee in between. Evenings are chilled as the sun goes down and the beats come on, with the occasional movie under the stars.
Charcoal
