Review
What impressed me most about Avani+ Fares was the huge lagoon and the massive reef surrounding it. It's the Western edge of Baa Atoll so it offers uninterrupted views from most locations on the island. It's a 100% natural island with wide beaches and it used to be a coconut tree plantation so there's plenty of foliage. The island has such rich marine life, including a blue hole which is great for snorkelling. There are some unique concepts, such as a strong focus on Maldivian culture and the kids only restaurant, that makes it a great option for families.
