East Winds
La Brellotte Bay, Saint Lucia
East Winds is one of St Lucia’s most intimate all-inclusive boutique stays, designed for clients seeking privacy, simplicity and a slower pace. With just 30 cottage-style suites set within tropical gardens, the emphasis is on space, tranquillity and personalised service. The resort sits directly on a quiet private beach, with a strong focus on relaxed, unfussy luxury. Dining is included and informal, with a focus on quality over choice, reinforcing its low-key appeal. A strong option for couples and repeat Caribbean travellers looking for a calm, residential-feel hideaway.
Review
A small, relaxed 4-star hotel with 30 rooms, offering a homey, informal atmosphere with many repeat guests. The private beach creates a peaceful setting with a steel pan band playing during the day. The rooms are simple and traditional, with entry-level rooms set in greenery and deluxe rooms on the hill with patios. Three oceanfront rooms are available, and two can be interconnected. The single beachside restaurant offers a rotating menu, a small buffet, and generous dinner portions. There are three bars, including a self-serve pool bar, and a weekly BBQ. The hotel features a large yoga pavilion, an open-air spa with natural sounds, free non-motorised water sports, and a snorkelling-friendly reef. Complimentary weddings, valued at $1,000, are offered regardless of stay length or guest number.
