Review
I have a soft spot for Four Seasons Kuda Huraa. It has amazing staff, many of whom have been there for a number of years and this has created a lovely, friendly atmosphere on the island. Fantastic food as well, and the water villas are excellent. There is a great surf spot behind the resort called Ninjas which is really fun and not too demanding. I also surfed at Sultan's which was quite a high level so for the expert surfer who can handle strong currents it is one of the best spots in the Maldives! The Tropic Surf team at Four Seasons are real pros and were there all the time to instruct, and help give a push every now and again when arms are tired! They have new boards in great condition and the whole set up is very high end.

Baraabaru
Meaning ‘excellent’ in Dhivehi, Baraabaru is a feast for the senses: fragrant spices of made-to-order homestyle Indian cuisine; flickering torches lighting a 25-metre over-sea deck; and artful timber columns inspired by the architecture of Kerala. Open for dinner, highlights include Jain, Sattvic and organic specialities, a private overwater pavilion for up to four guests, and daytime cooking masterclasses.
Reef Club
Reef Club blends sea breezes, ocean music, local seafood and Tuscan flavours. Four areas each offer a unique ambience – a tree-shaded sand-floor garden; a starlit water’s-edge deck; beneath the arches of a cosy beachside trattoria; or at the bar – for glorious al fresco lunches and dinners, Mediterranean-style.
Kandu Grill
Located adjacent to the main pool, Kandu Grill is open for dinner, serving fresh catch of the day alongside choice meats, seafood, salads and side dishes from an open kitchen pavilion.
Sunset Lounge
It’s Kodak-moments aplenty at the Sunset Lounge, an atmospheric, open-sided pavilion overlooking the main jetty. Picture-perfect views of the sunset beyond The Island Spa are complemented by a billiards table, creative cocktails and access to the Turtle Beach.
Poolside Bar
The ‘swim-up’ poolside bar and adjacent terrace serve cocktails, juices and snacks throughout the day. Gazebos around the pool provide shade by day and romantic dining venues by night.
