Wild Coast is part of the Resplendent Ceylon circuit, created by the family-owned Dilmah Tea Company. It's one of three Relais & Chateaux resorts along with Tea Trails and Cape Weligama, forming a delightful 'Route de Bonheur (Happiness)' from tea fields to clifftop beach and safari lodge. Wild Coast Tented Lodge is located on a rugged beach bordering Yala National Park, where the jungle meets the Indian Ocean. The lodge offers 28 vaulted Cocoons & Urchin tents, providing the comfort of a luxury hotel with the thrill of a raw wilderness experience. The open-air bamboo-clad Den and Dining Pavilion, designed to mimic the boulders on the beach, overlooks the free-form swimming pool. Guests can enjoy daily-changing menus of authentic Sri Lankan cuisine and sunset cocktails and picnics on the sand dunes, with views of the Indian Ocean as dusk settles in.
