Young Island Resort is a small private island escape just off St Vincent, offering a traditional Caribbean cottage-style stay with strong character. Accessed by a short 24-hour ferry, it feels removed yet accessible, making it suited to clients wanting privacy without remoteness. Accommodation is low-rise and informal, with several suites offering plunge pools or infinity-style views. Dining is open-air and social, with a strong emphasis on local flavours and daily changing menus. A simple, unpolished island stay best suited to repeat Caribbean travellers and couples seeking something low-key and authentic.
Review
Quintessentially Caribbean, perfect for a rustic laidback stay. All the cottages are hidden within lush flora and fauna so are very private, some have private pools and direct beach access which I would highly recommend. It is on the windward side of the island which means there is often a lovely cooling breeze too. The ferry shuttle runs on demand 24 hours a day so also really easy to get over to the mainland and enjoy the bars and restaurants there.

An open-air style restaurant with thatched gazebos close to the water's edge. Fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs are used in the various culinary creations. Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. Lunch from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Served breakfast daily A la carte lunch six days per week with a buffet lunch on Sundays. Table D'hote four course meal six evenings per week with a barbecue and buffet dinner on Saturday evenings. Six signature homemade breads are served at each meal.
