I got my love for travel from my mother who was in the industry for 20 years. Because of this I was lucky enough to start travelling when I was very young, and often to the most interesting and ‘off the beaten track’ destinations. Of everywhere that I have visited the countries in Asia are definitely my favourite; so diverse in culture, people, terrain and food to name a few. I went to Nepal when I was 15 and loved it so much that I went back after school and worked briefly at an orphanage in Kathmandu, and thought no other country would steal my heart quite the same. And then came Sri Lanka! In 2017 I worked at Gal Oya Lodge in the jungle for 7 months and had time to explore the teardrop island, completing falling in love with the people, the place and the variety it has to offer. I feel very lucky to be working for a company that sells it, along with our other amazing destinations.
