Hotel Chocolat

The name says it all! It’s all about Chocolate at Rabot Hotel by Hotel Chocolat.

This boutique property is set on Hotel Chocolat’s working cacao farm in the middle of lush rainforest and is unique to its open-air style private lodges, restaurant and spa. Upon arrival, we were greeted with the striking views of the Petit Piton and the air was filled with rich fragrances of the surrounding cocoa trees. 

A stay here at Rabot Hotel is all about experiences, and a visit to the Rabot Estate is a must! Project Chocolat is an immersive experience where we got to learn about the daily operations of the lab and how chocolate is produced for its shops worldwide. Using only Rabot Estate grown cacao, much of the spa amenities and treatments include organic ingredients such as cacao body butter, cacao oil, cacao baths etc. The property is also in close proximity to the famous sulphur springs where many guests from around the island visit. 

We spent much of our down time by the pool overlooking the stunning UNESCO Heritage Site, accompanied by chocolate infused cocktails of course. We sampled the extensive menu at the restaurant and explored the sweet and savoury nature of cacao, together with the superb local produce. The Cacao Cannelloni in particular was a real delight! Plenty of fruits and vegetables are sourced directly from the Estate! 

Back in our private lodges, we enjoyed the gentle sounds of the rainforest and the incredible views of the Piton. Bite sized refreshments such as coconut chips, chocolate cookies and brownies were devoured daily!
