Recently, one of our Travel Consultants Julia got the chance to explore the beautiful Cayman Islands, here were her thoughts:

"Breakfast with the stingrays? Sunday Brunch with the locals? Or perhaps a rum punch at sunset before witnessing the incredible bioluminescent lagoon at night? All this and more, in the Cayman Islands, a place I recently visited and has stolen my heart. So unlike any other Caribbean destination, yet blends elements from its neighbours and takes inspiration from its visitors, the Cayman Islands is such a melting pot of cultures and flavours, proudly declaring itself the culinary capital of the West Indies - I could not agree more! They take food very seriously and every restaurant on the island is a big affair, showcasing the most delicious dishes from all around the world."

"I had the chance to experience both Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac, one cosmopolitan and luxurious and one laid back and rustic, but both of stunning natural beauty and what stands out above all else, was the warmth of the locals and the smile you would see on everyone’s face no matter where you went. It’s not the obvious choice for travellers from Europe, but it really is a hidden gem that needs to be explored and enjoyed in all its' beauty."

"There is something for everyone, from world class diving sites to crystal caves, from the stunning bluff to the famous 7 mile sandy beach, from wellness boutique hotels to family resorts, it’s all just waiting to be discovered. Cay-Man, how the locals say it, almost sounding like Hey, Man, come check it out!"
