Recently, our Sales Manager Lottie had the chance to explore the Turks & Caicos Islands and visit some of the gorgeous resorts on the island. Here were her thoughts:

"I was lucky enough to spend 11 nights in Turks & Caicos which gave me a real insight into how beautiful and diverse the islands truly are. I stayed at Wymara Resort  on my first night which was the best way to start my trip - the rooms are incredibly spacious and their 3 bedroom oceanfront suite definitely has some of the best views I've seen!"

"Next I headed to South Caicos which is only a 15 minute flight from Providenciales but has a very different feel altogether - when I first arrived you could see all of the flamingos feeding in the salt flats as I made my way over to Salterra. The property is relatively new, but I was really impressed by their incredibly warm service, the fantastic excursions they offer - my highlight was doing the South Caicos Bank Excursion where we saw iguanas, starfish and spotted eagle rays! However, the real standout was their signature dining experience at Brine - a 5 course tasting menu with wine and salt pairings which really elevated the experience."

"Next I headed back to Providenciales and made my way to Amanyara which is on the northern tip of the island, completely tucked away in the National Park. Amanyara's pavilions & villas are incredibly secluded and are perfect for those seeking ultimate privacy - a personal favourite was the Alcove Pavilion!"

"I was very grateful to have had the opportunity to join the group FAM trip with Van Isacker to see Blue Haven, The Alexandra Resort & Ambergris Cay First, we went to Blue Haven which is right on the marina and is one of the very few all inclusive properties in Turks & Caicos. One of the highlights on this trip was doing the Mangrove Kayak Tour and we were lucky enough to spot lots of turtles and baby sharks! We also spent a day at The Alexandra Resort which is only a 15 minute drive from Blue Haven.

"It has a really authentic Caribbean feel and I particularly loved the jerk chicken at Irie Bites and the steak at Black Rock Grill. As Blue Haven and The Alexandra are both part of the Turks & Caicos Collection, it's complimentary to use all facilities and restaurants, including the shuttle between the resorts!"

"We then made our way over to the very impressive Ambergris Cay which is a 20 minute flight from Providenciales - it's a premium all inclusive property where you get your own golf cart which is one of the best ways to explore the island. The villas all have their own unique charm and are suitable for families of all ages as well as couples seeking a romantic escape. Hobie cat sailing, e-bike tours around the island, bone fishing and an afternoon going over to their Floating Hangover Bar were some of my favourite activities! "

"Lastly, to end the trip I made my way over to COMO Parrot Cay - it's only a 35 minute boat journey from Providenciales but it really gives that secluded feel as it's the only property on the island. They have some incredibly impressive villas as well as their world famous spa which overlooks North Caicos channel."

"Their COMO Shambhala massage was incredible and I had some of the best food I had whilst in Turks & Caicos - the Pad Thai at COMO Beach Club and the Eggs Royale at Terrace for breakfast were a complete standout!"
