As part of the resort's vision to be the Caribbean’s leading, sustainable, lifestyle resort, they have embarked on a journey to redefine luxury hospitality in the region. Since the resort opened in 2021, over 130,000 flowers, plants & trees have been planted creating breath-taking gardens for guests to explore, as well as a new habitat for local wildlife. Having breakfast with hummingbirds and an ocean breeze is typically how a days starts at the resort. There is a 20,000 ft2 greenhouse where the resort team grow organic herbs and vegetables. Thanks to the climate they are able to grow all year round using no pesticides, and serve their produce in both of the restaurants – Breeze and Bobbie’s Beach Club. The 2,240 solar panels allow the resort to be almost fully off the grid. And the resort offers drinking water straight from the tap! Through reverse osmosis machines the team create clear drinking water from pure saltwater.
