I was really excited to return to Huvafen Fushi after their refurbishment and it didn't disappoint. The rooms are light, elegant and serene, with newly enclosed bathrooms and private pools at both the back and front of each villa. All the best features of this very pretty island remain reassuringly intact - their excellent house reef, lush greenery, intimate atmosphere and delicious food - but everything now feels fresh, elevated and back where Huvafen belongs.
