I went to The Residence when I was quite young and coming back nearly 14 years later, it took me back to why I fell inlove with Mauritius! It's perfect for families and couples, the rooms are extremely spacious and have incredible views of the beach. One of the main standout points is the grand entrance hall into the lobby as well as the view coming back from the beach into the hotel, from the high beams it feels very luxurious. The food at The Plantation was excellent, it was all very fresh and you have stunning views of the ocean out infront of you.

The Verandah

Set in a planter's house by the beach, the marriage of a spectacular oceanfront setting with an original approach to presenting the freshest seafood and Creole cuisine has made this restaurant one of the favourite dining destinations on the island. Guests can relish a moment of tranquillity enjoying a traditional afternoon tea, or cocktails in the evening nestled on an oversized sofa.
