Hummingbird Travel successfully hosted a Maldives FAM trip for Traveller Made agents. Led by Marketing Executive, Karen, agents from all around the world participated including Ecuador, Finland, Slovakia, Italy, France, Switzerland and USA.
Over 7 days, we visited 8 resorts within the Traveller Made program that included Velaa Private Island, Cheval Blanc, Shangri-La Villingili Resort & Spa, COMO Maalifushi, Conrad Maldives Rangali, One&Only Reethi Rah, Waldorf Astoria and Gili Lankanfushi.
Getting around the different islands was a real experience! Due to the distances between each resort we were able to experience all types of transfer possible.

We were lucky enough to have arrived at Gili Lankanfushi on their re-opening day on the 1 December 2019. The resort has undergone a huge renovation project for the most of 2019 and have
rebuilt and renovated their water villas and restaurant. We celebrated the re-opening over a cocktail or two at the sunset management cocktail on the beach.

Other highlights include visiting Ithaa, the first underwater restaurant in the Maldives, as well as the underwater villa, The Muraka.

It was truly a fantastic week exploring the Maldives. It was a great opportunity for us to build relationships with clients, and to get know our potential clients better.
